Hello my name is Ryan Silvas I am from Livermore California and this blog is for Communications 210 at Washington State University. I have lived almost my entire life in Livermore, but recently I spent a year to live in San Diego. Now I am back in Livermore and enrolled in the Washington State University online communications program. My interests include playing sports such as football and baseball I also like to workout and play video games with my friends. I played football for 12 years and saw great success, but no longer play due to loss of interest. Two current interests I am working on are learning to play an instrument and video editing. My career goals are getting my degree and finding a job that suits me well. I am still unsure about the exact field of work I want to make a career out of, but I am hoping to figure that out before I graduate. What I do know is that I wish to avoid having a job that I am not happy with and having to commute in traffic. One idea I have for a career would be working in the video game industry and being able to work on a video game that I can heavily influence.
